Thor: Love and Thunder just came out, and the next few years of the MCU have already been planned out.

That might mean making a fifth Thor movie, but we think you’ll have to wait at least three years. Apologies for that.
Who Will Be in the Cast of Thor 5?
We can be sure that Chris Hemsworth will come back as Thor if there is another big movie. Also, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Jaimie Alexander as Sif, and Taika Waititi as Korg (even if it’s just for a short time).
If this storyline stays the same, India Hemsworth could come back as Love, Gorr’s daughter. Based on the scene after the credits, Brett Goldstein is likely to be in Thor 5 as Hercules, the main bad guy. Nothing is set in stone until something is.

What Will Happen in Thor 5?
It doesn’t at all in some ways. In other places, yes. Thor: Love and Thunder is a story that stands on its own and doesn’t touch on the multiverse. It ends with the line “Thor will return,” but it’s not clear how Thor plans to come back.
But the scene during the credits does set up a possible fifth Thor movie. Jane and Heimdall are both in Valhalla, so it’s possible that Jane could come back for a fifth time, just like she did in the comics after she died.
As for Hemsworth’s return, in the scene after the credits, Zeus seems to start planning against Thor, Valkyrie, and Korg. He gives his son Hercules (Bret Goldstein from Ted Lasso) the job of finding them and getting revenge for, well, making a fool of him. So in the fifth movie, Hercules and Thor could fight.

Either of these or both of them could be used in a fifth movie. We’d probably also see “Love,” the daughter of Christian Bale’s Gorr the God Butcher, who became Thor’s ward at the end of the movie and can now use Mjolnir and has her own superpowers.
