After season 2 of American Euphoria is over, fans are looking forward to season 3. The show began in 2019, and after season 2, it became more popular. When Season 2 of Euphoria came out, it quickly became one of the most-watched shows on HBO.

From Rue's ongoing battle with drug addiction to Jules's difficult journey to change her gender to Fez and Ashtray's run-ins with the law and the amazing love triangle between Nate, Maddy, and Cassie, the last two seasons of this TV show have been a nonstop thrill ride full of tension. And that doesn't even include Lexi's incredible play!

Our favourite teen criminals are sure to get into a lot more trouble in the next season, but when will Euphoria season 3 come out? When we see the group again, who will be with whom? Who from Euphoria will be back for more, and who seems likely to drop out of high school? Even though these kids might not go to school, we have worked hard and have all the answers you need.

When Euphoria Season 3 Will Come Out?

We don't know when Euphoria season 3 will come out yet, but we think it will start in early 2024. Based on how long it took between seasons 1 and 2, we think season 3 won't come out until early 2024, most likely in January.

Euphoria season 3 has officially been given the go-ahead, which was confirmed by the official Euphoria Twitter account. We don't know when we can expect to see the drama show back on our screens, but we do know that filming will begin in February 2023.

If we look back, season 1 came out in August 2019, and season 2 didn't come out until January 2022. During that time, we did get a few special episodes, and a global pandemic slowed down production.

Unfortunately, if we had to guess right now, Euphoria season 3 won't come out until 2024. We were hoping that Sam Levinson would give us a couple more special episodes in the meantime, but Casey Bloys, the Chief Content Officer at HBO, says that's not the plan this time.

What Will Happen in Euphoria Season 3?

Euphoria filled the time between seasons one and two with two special episodes. Even though these were made because of problems with COVID, they were very well received, which means that more could be made to learn more about different characters before season three.

In the meantime, you can expect season three to keep putting back together the pieces that the explosive end of season two broke.

Nate will have to deal with the consequences of sending his father to prison, Cassie and Maddy might be able to be friends again (maybe), and then there's Jules. Clearly, she wants to make up with Rue, but based on how that last voiceover went, it's safe to say that the fan-favourite couple will never be together again.

On the other hand, Euphoria hasn't directly dealt with a big mystery yet, which could be a big part of season three. We're talking about Nate's secret third brother, who has shown up in a family portrait not once, but twice, in both seasons.

Fans have been talking about the youngest Jacobs's brother since the first episode. Some theories are crazier than others – that ain't Ashtray – but the secret behind his disappearance could be exactly the kind of weird thing that this show thrives on.

And then there's Young Cal's secret love for Derek. If this character came back in season three, it could cause a lot of trouble. That doesn't seem very likely, though, since Cal has arrested at the end of season two's last episode.

Cal himself might not even come back, but he might show up in prison or courtroom scenes that show more about how he fell from grace. In season two, Sydney Sweeney's character, Cassie, got darker, and the actress would like that to continue in season three.
