Chrome Shelled Regios Plot:

‘Chrome Shelled Regios’ takes place in a post-apocalyptic world ruled by deformed animals known as Limbeekoon. Overwhelmed by these animals, mankind are forced to relocate to vast mobile cities known as Regios, where they employ specialised weaponry known as Dite to defend themselves. Layfon Alseif, the protagonist, sincerely aspires to begin a fresh life in Zuellni’s Academy City. However, to his dismay, Karian Loss, the student council president, discovers his abilities and terrible past. She chooses to include him in her circle, and his allegedly hidden past begins to return to haunt him.

Chrome Shelled Regios Characters:

Alseif Layfon Wolfstein Wolfstein
Layfon, the story’s protagonist, has brown hair and is one of the few Heaven’s Blades wielders. He and Derk were forced to live at an orphanage in Geldan as children. Due to Derk’s inability to do anything, he was driven into street fights in order to make money for the two of them. Within a short period of time, his adaptability and strong Kei enabled him to learn the art of fighting and win his spot among the Elites. He even earns the coveted “Wolfstein” designation, which is reserved for the very best. Gahard later challenges him to a title battle and attempts to bribe him into losing. He states that if he wins, he would disclose Layfon’s involvement in previous underground fights. Layfon fights Gahard with everything he’s got, but Gahard escapes after losing an arm in the heated battle. As a result, he is later deprived of his hard-earned titles and forced to begin a new life.

He later enrols as a General Education Student at the Academy City of Zuellni. From the moment he saves a young boy from falling rubble, he attracts unwarranted attention. As a result of his prior experiences, he adopts a “win or die” mentality, in which a warrior must either defeat his adversary or perish in the process. However, later in Zuellni, he is compelled to restrain himself in order to avoid revealing any of his past through his actual Kei might. Layfon is normally extremely cool throughout his battles, but when he loses himself entirely, he becomes practically insufferable. As strong as he is, he is extremely loving to those he cares about and is willing to sacrifice his own life for them.

Antalk, Nina
Nina is the 17th platoon’s leader. She senses Layfon’s aptitude and coerces him into joining her squad. She has long blond hair and blue eyes and appears to be deceptively lovely. She acquired an urge to visit the outside world at a very young age, and it was then that she chose to flee her home. Following this, she attempted to use her martial arts talents to protect an Electric Fairy but was subsequently shot down by a hunter. Recognizing her impending death, the Electric Fairy bestowed onto her her own life.

Initially, her Kei appears to be quite weak in comparison to Layfon’s, and she relies entirely on Layfon’s abilities to win battles. However, she later develops her own Kei and even adopts a more strategic approach to fighting, which enables her to easily win. She begins to develop feelings for Layfon but never confesses them. She expresses her admiration for him only afterwards, after being drugged. On sometimes, she works a little too hard and ends up exhausting herself. However, she earns the respect of her comrades, who begin to look up to her for her determination.
