It’s been a somewhat quiet year for Netflix romantic comedies. While La Dolce Villa found some fans, it didn’t make a huge impact. Netflix hopes to revive the genre with The Wrong Paris, starring Miranda Cosgrove, returning after her role in last year’s Mother in the Bridge, alongside Pierson Fodé. The story follows a woman who joins a dating show thinking it’s set in Paris, France, but it’s actually in Paris, Texas. Initially planning to leave quickly, her plans are complicated by one of the contestants.

Blending real and fictional characters, it tells a story of youth, revolution, and storytelling power. Though niche, it carries prestige and may be an exception among Netflix’s black-and-white dramas.
A House of Dynamite

The story involves a missile launched at the United States, triggering a race to find the culprit and respond. With a stellar cast and Bigelow’s reputation for intense thrillers, expectations are very high.
She Walks in Darkness

The story follows their rise to power with their grotesque amusement park, Twitlandia, and the efforts of two orphans and magical animals to stop them.
