The Accountant is a great movie do watch it, this is what my friend said to me 4 years back when we’re in college. I, who is a web series freak, at that time never really look into the movies. But as she recommended me and I don’t want to disrespect her, I watched it. The main thing which attracts my eyes was the Handsome main character of the story who was none other than Ben Affleck. The story was great and I thanked her for recommending this movie.
Now, after years there is news going around that there might be a second part of the movie. And who will be more excited than my friend and me, Of course! If you’re also a fan of The Accountant then stay with us till the end. So, without wasting any time let’s see what do we know about The Accountant’s Season 2.
The Accountant 2 – know about it
To begin with, this is an American action-thriller movie it was released its first part on 14th October in the year 2016. The Director of Accountant Gavin O’Connor whereas the writer of the amazing storyline is Bill Dubuque. I am sure many of the people aren’t aware that there are Movies like The Accountant exists in the world.
If you ask me I would say that this movie is a masterpiece and surely be an underrated movie. And there are a lot of people around, who love to check out the underrated movies.
The movie was made with the initial budget of $44 Million while on the other hand, the movie earn around $155 Million, which is more than triple of the budget. Now, with so much profit, how can’t we expect the movie to release its second part?
The Accountant 2 – Is it going to happen?
In an interview, Affleck said –
“We’ve talked about it. There seems to be a debate whether or not to do a TV series version of it. The scriptwriter [Bill Dubuque] has become quite successful and busy, so he’s off doing his thing. And somebody said to me, ‘Well if we could find a script that we could retrofit and make into a sequel… But that’s sort of tricky because the personality of the character is so specific, that doesn’t really work to just say, ‘Well, we used to call this script Action Movie Shootout, and now we’re going to call it The Accountant 2’.”
From the above statement, it is quite clear that there will be an Accountant 2 but whether it’ll be a movie or series we don’t know. To be honest, if it will be a set of series then it’ll be great just like Sherlock Holmes.
He also added that if the role will be given to him again, he’ll happily play it.
“But it is one of the few movies that I’ve worked on, that I’d be thrilled to work with Gavin again and do that again. I had a great time. It was a lot of fun. It was an interesting twist on the genre and I’d love to do it.”
Moreover, he laughed by saying “And if they want to produce a TV show version of it and I get some royalties, well that’s great too.”
The Account 2- Release Date
If you want to know about the release date then we’re not telling you because we too don’t know yet .
We have nothing officially announced and don’t have any date yet. Through it is clear that we will be getting the second part of the Accountant but when? The release date is not mentioned yet.

The Accountant 2 – Plot
The first part of the story revolves around the main character Christian Wolf, who is an Accountant by nature. Additionally, he has high-functioning autism, so that’s why he has an intelligent mind. This intelligence-led him to work for the criminal and terrorist organizations around the world.

Not only this, he is also a Secret agent for FinCEN. Now, in the latter story, he has been assigned a task of Living Robotics. This company’s CEO, Lamar Blackburn, complaint about the robbery of $62 Million from the house of female-lead character Dana Cummings (Anna Kendrick)
Everything changes when Christian finds out that, it was Lamar who has stolen the money and also killed his sister, Rita Blackburn and that’s how the story continues.
Now, in the second sequel of the movie, we can expect Christian to solve another problem such as he fid in the first part of the movie. But as it was announced that this part will be “Bigger and better” we can, of course, expect more go this movie.
The audience will love to see romantic scenes in life of christian’s . Since nothing is officially confirmed we can’t confirm any of these. But we can wait for more news to come up.
The Accountant 2 – Cast
So, The Accountant movie has some of the best characters so far and I am sure that you’ll agree with me when I say no one else can be so perfect for the main character than Ben Affleck as Christian Chris. He played a character who is intelligent and has high-functioning autism.
Now, as we are aware the sequel is getting prepared and it wouldn’t be the best to not be able to see the main character in the role. Although, nothing is Officially announced that whether Ben Affleck is coming back or not but no one has denied it too.
Keeping this and of course positivity in mind, we assume that the main protagonist is coming back. Also, the other main character like Anna Kendrick will be cast a Dana Cummings And Seth lee will be seen as Young Chris.

Your expectations for your son may change over time, they might include marriage, children, self-sufficiency. They might not. But I guarantee you, if we let the world set expectations for our children, they’ll start low, and they’ll stay there. And maybe… Just maybe… He doesn’t understand how to tell us. Or… we haven’t yet learned how to listen.

“I loved this movie. Yes, it was action-packed, yes, some of the storylines were a bit unbelievable, but after you overlook all of these things you realize what the message of the movie is really about. What is the message? That you should never label people based on a perceived disability. That everyone, no matter who you are or what physical and mental limitations you might have, is capable of accomplishing great things. Case in point..the ending. The ending blew my mind and made me grin widely. Love that technology is as advanced as far as it is, so we as people have a better understanding of what autistic people are truly capable of. Well done! I plan on actually spending money and seeing The Accountant 2 in the theaters when it is released.”

While the ratings of this show are quite low, the movie received well from the people. The storyline Is great and so is the acting.
