Cynthia Bailey and Mike Hill made the decision to divorce shortly before their second wedding anniversary. The couple has been planning their separation for several months.
Wednesday, the couple announced on multiple social media platforms that they had jointly decided to separate after realizing their marriage was failing.
“LOVE is a magnificent thing. While we will continue to love each other, we have decided to separate ways,” the couple announced. We are grateful for our continued friendship and will always appreciate the moments we created as husband and wife.
“Many of you have been with us since the very beginning. Additionally, we appreciate our family, friends, and fans who will continue to support us as we embark on new chapters. Thank you for your prayers and well wishes!”
The revelation broke shortly after Bailey changed her surname and deleted many of their Instagram images together. However, in recent photographs, the model proudly wears her 5-carat wedding ring. On Monday, however, they did not recognize the occasion of their anniversary.
The now-former couple met for the first time on Steve Harvey’s talk show in 2018, where their relationship blossomed live on camera. Shortly after two years, they married in Atlantis, Georgia, in a grand ceremony. The ceremony was featured in season 13 of the Bravo reality show. In the 12th season of RHOA, fans also had a glimpse of their engagement.
Both Bailey and Hill were in their second marriages. Certainly, Bailey and Hill have experienced numerous ups and downs, including the episode in 2021 in which Hill was blamed for sending flirty texts and a picture of his penis. Although the couple angrily rejected the anonymous Twitter user’s allegations, with the model, 55, calling them “annoying” and Hill, 52, threatening to turn over the case to legal authorities.

Bailey left the set of the hit television series ‘Bravo’ after 11 successful seasons, two months before the swindle, in order to safeguard her marriage.
“After my divorce from ex-husband, I am extremely protective of my second marriage because I want it to succeed and I want to do everything I can to protect Mike,” she explained.
In the episode, the dissolution of Bailey’s past marriage was discussed. The couple was married from 2010 to 2017 She has a daughter, Noelle, with her ex-husband, Leon Robinson.
Bailey recently stated in an interview with PEOPLE, “God does not make errors! “I genuinely feel it was fate that brought Mike into my life,” she stated. “Although this trip has reached its conclusion, I am thankful that we will remain friends,” she continued.
Essentially, Hill is pleased to have the opportunity to address the matter “privately” and is at peace with the knowledge that “she will always be there for me, and I will always be there for her.”
