Black Lagoon is based on the story of pirate mercenaries known as the Lagoon Company. The role of this company is that they smuggle goods in and around the areas of Southeast Asia.
They have a to supply goods in the imaginary harbor city of Roanapur in east Thailand near the border of Cambodia. Roanapur is the city that is home to the Yakuza, the Chinese Triad, the mafia, the cartel, the Italian mafia, thugs, mercenaries, thieves, prostitutes, assassins, and gunmen.
The team Black Lagoon goes on to various missions where they have battles, firefights, and hand-to-hand combat on different Southeast Asian locations.
