‘XO, Kitty’ Season 3 Wraps Filming
Production on ‘XO, Kitty’ Season 3 has reportedly concluded. Over the past 24 hours, several cast and crew members involved with the series have shared posts indicating they have finished their filming commitments, showcasing wrap merchandise and photos from the final day on set.
Since Netflix announced the renewal earlier this year, updates about the show have been scarce. However, fans have pieced together clues from various posts and stories shared by those connected to the production. Unlike Season 2, there was no official “production is underway” video from Netflix, although Anna Cathcart was seen reunited with Peter Hyo-Chul Thurnwald on set via an Instagram story.
Season 3 centers on Kitty’s third semester at KISS (Korean Independent School of Seoul) and will introduce several new characters. This season is also said to enter the so-called MoonCovey Endgame.
As reported in February, production was planned to last at least three months, beginning in April 2025 and initially scheduled to wrap by June. However, filming extended slightly, with the final shoot wrapping in mid-July 2025.
On July 1st, Michael Medico, a director on the show, announced the completion of block three filming, writing, “That’s a wrap on block 3 season 3 of XO Kitty and my time in Seoul. I fell in love with this city, cast and crew. XO, Medico.”
Additionally, some South Korean crew members have posted on Instagram confirming that filming has fully wrapped.
Justin Cameron, a camera operator and director of photography for the series, shared an Instagram story suggesting he is now returning home from Seoul after completing Season 3 filming. Some fans on X have speculated that Kitty might return to Los Angeles in Season 3, though there is no official confirmation of this yet.
No official release date has been announced, but current information suggests the show is targeting a return in the early months of 2026, possibly March. This timeline is subject to change, as Netflix often adjusts release schedules in the months leading up to premieres.
