Who Plays Josh in She-hulk: Know Everything About Josh of She-hulk
The sixth episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law introduced us to Josh, who attended Lulu’s wedding and was quick to flirt with Jen Walters there despite his ostensibly innocent appearance. However, even though he appeared to be quite innocent, the conclusion of episode 7 was quick to flip things around, as the story now has a definite antagonist that She-Hulk must likely beat by the end of the season. In light of this, who is Josh in She-Hulk?
Josh is a friend of Lulu’s groom and, during the wedding, he was interested in Jen Walters rather than She-Hulk. Beginning with innocent dates, he and Jen finally slept together. Josh, however, ghosted Jen. However, it was soon revealed that he was the administrator of the anti-She-Hulk Intelligencia page.
What is Josh in She-Hulk?
In the sixth episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Jen’s identity as both Jennifer Walters and She-Hulk was explored in greater depth while she attended the wedding of her high school friend Lulu. During that wedding, however, she finally met someone who liked her for who she is as opposed to who she is as She-Hulk, as we had seen in prior episodes when she only received attention because of her alter persona.
Josh ended up spending time with Jen throughout the wedding, both before and after she quickly dispatched Titania, who attended the ceremony to humiliate her. They quickly became friends. In the meantime, we learned from Mallory and Nikki’s case involving Mr. Immortal that a website named Intelligencia had a page dedicated to destroying She-Hulk and spreading false accusations about Jen and her altered identity.
Josh appears to be who he claims to be, as he may be a normal man who is very interested in Jen. During Lulu’s wedding, when he referred to Jen as “beautiful,” he initially showed interest in her. He was fascinated by her sense of humor and charisma. Following the wedding, they began going on dates. After several dates, Jen and Josh slept together early in the seventh episode.
However, the seventh episode examined Jen’s obsession with waiting for Josh to text her after he departed early in the morning after they shared a bed. On top of that, he didn’t contact her for three days, which caused Jen to be concerned that she may have been ghosted by someone she believed was interested in her.
What Plays Josh’s Role in She-Hulk?
Josh, played by Trevor Salter, a new face in the acting profession, appears to be one of the opponents Jen will have to confront near the end of the season, as she still lacks a definite enemy in the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law series. But, for the time being, we don’t know who Josh is or what his function is in the series. We only know it has something to do with Intelligence.
Intelligence is an organization of crazy scientists and malevolent geniuses who oppose the Hulk family in the comics. This group consisted of Samuel Sterns (the Leader) and notable evil geniuses such as Mad Thinker, Red Ghost, the Wizard, Egghead, and MODOK. This group’s objective is to collaborate in secret to bring down the Hulk family. In reality, this squad was responsible for the creation of the Red Hulk.
Given that some of these villains are unlikely to feature in the She-Hulk series, it is plausible that the MCU’s interpretation of Intelligencia differs from the comics. In episode 6, we saw that Intelligencia is similar to Reddit in that there are numerous sites relating to different superhumans and different users can post anonymously on the internet.
Final Words
Josh appears to be the administrator of the subpage dedicated to anti-She-Hulk sentiments. It also appears that he was solely trying to harass and bring down Jen Walters and She-Hulk by posting various things on Intelligencia.
In this sense, there is a strong possibility that Josh is one of the leaders of this hidden organization of scientists who are attempting to destroy him, as it was evident that the Wrecking Crew was obeying the orders of someone when they took Jen’s blood sample.
