Who is the Strongest Character in Naruto? Top 10 Ranked!
Since its debut in September 1999, the Naruto manga has spawned over 70 volumes and 700+ entries of animated television programmes starring the likeable knucklehead ninja, Naruto Uzumaki. Masashi Kishimoto spent 20 years developing a wide range of characters that have since become fan favourites.
There is a wide range of power and ability among these individuals, from the silly and adorable to the extremely dangerous and questionable. Now the question is: who among us is the mightiest? There’s no doubt that deciding on a ranking of the series’ most powerful characters is a herculean undertaking. It’s not easy to tell who would fare better in a fight, given the wide variety of skills and strengths possessed by the characters.
The challenge of generating a power ranking only grows more and more difficult when the spinoff series Boruto: Naruto Next Generations progresses farther into its own tale. A definitive ranking of Naruto’s strongest characters is, nevertheless, feasible by considering different Jutsu, direct confrontations, and years of lore.
Who is the Strongest Character in Naruto?
10. Kakashi Hatake
Many Shinobi of the Jonin level were no match for his intelligence and cunning as a Genin. Kakashi became a vicious shinobi in the ANBU Division after he shut himself off from the world and carried an eternal wrath for the deaths of Rin and Obito.

Despite not being a member of the Uchiha family, Kakashi displayed exceptional Sharingan skills. Kakashi could now conjure a full-body Susanoo after acquiring an extra eye from Obito. In fact, he squared up against Kaguya Otsutsuki and was instrumental in his team’s eventual victory.
9. Minato Namikaze
The fourth Hokage of the Leaf Village, Minato Namikaze, is the focus of the first several episodes. However, in Shippuden, we see his ferocity in combat firsthand. While Minato is already formidable in his normal form, thanks to his vast repertoire of jutsu that includes the legendary flying thunder god jutsu and the Rasengan, he reaches the pinnacle of his power during the fourth shinobi world war when it is revealed that he has half of the Nine-Tailed Fox sealed within him.
Minato is one of Naruto’s more potent characters thanks to his technique knowledge, combat prowess, and the nine tails chakra he possesses.
8. Itachi Uchiha
The fan-favorite Itachi initially appears powerful. Itachi easily overcomes three Jonin-level ninja, including Kakashi Hatake. Itachi’s Sharingan and technical skills increase throughout the series. Itachi can construct a massive Susanoo armour armour around his body and weave powerful genjustu that can change reality with his immortal Mangekyo Sharingan. His Tosca blade seals permanently.
Despite the fact that Itachi is revealed to be sick in the later parts of the show, when he was well, Itachi was a formidable opponent for any ninja. Do check out the strongest anime character in 2022.
7. Nagato
To Itachi’s right hand, Nagato commands the “six paths of pain,” a small group of soldiers under Nagato’s Rennegan control within the Akatsuki. Nagato’s ultimate weapon is one of these ways, each of which has its own special powers. Since the Naraka path can revive any other path that has been destroyed in battle, it is next to impossible to eliminate all of these paths individually when they are working together.
Even though Nagato is severely injured and unable to move or fight on his own, he is still one of the most dangerous and powerful ninjas thanks to the six paths at his control.
6. Hashirama Senju
A pivotal figure in Naruto’s past, Hashirama Senju was the first Hokage of the leaf village. Hashirama, often called the “God of Shinobi,” defeated Madara Uchiha, who was using the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan and the Nine-Tailed Fox to defend himself.
Hashirama’s abilities to use senjutsu to enter sage mode, his formidable chakra prowess, and his life force all contribute to his formidable strength. Hashirama’s woodsmanship allows him to be mobile and offensive in sage mode. In this guise, he can seal and bind powerful foes to a specific location.
It is impossible to dispute Hashirama’s status as a top-ten fighter, given the names he is said to have defeated in his prime and the power he displays during the fourth shinobi world war.

5. Eida
Among all the Naruto characters, Eida is one of the strongest. Amado had her and her younger brother both set out to kill Jigen. In her capacity as a clairvoyant, Eida is privy to all external information.
Because of Amado’s enhancements, she is now so stunning that it would be impossible for a man or woman to resist her. Only those who are related to the victim by blood or Otsutsuki are immune to its effects. If you try to stand in her way, you’ll end up with brain damage and perish.
4. Kaguya Otsutsuki
The last antagonist of the Naruto series is Kaguya Otsutsuki, popularly known as the Rabbit Goddess. Ahead of the ninja era, she ruled supreme. She had a companion with her when she arrived on Earth, but she ended up killing him when she betrayed them.
She ate the chakra fruit and immediately became extraordinarily powerful. She quickly brought the entire planet under her control after gaining her newfound might. Only when Hagoromo and Hamura Otsutsuki joined forces were they able to defeat her.
3. Hagoromo Otsutsuki
Kaguya Otsutsuki’s son, Hagoromo, was a famous samurai. When he learned the truth about their mother, he enlisted his brother’s help in his quest to vanquish her. It took several months, but Kaguya’s sons finally prevailed in their battle against their mother.
After Kaguya was sealed, the Ten-Tails’ power was open for the taking, and Hagoromo stepped up to become its new jinchuuriki to avoid any potential disputes. Evidently, this greatly increased Hagoromo’s chakra reserves and power, leading to his reputation as the “Sage of Six Paths.”
2. Naruto Uzumaki
Naruto was a prankster as a child. He also suffered because Konoha’s inhabitants saw him as a monster. He vowed to become the strongest Hokage ever.
During the Fourth Great Ninja War, he bonded with Kurama and received enough chakra to share with the Shinobi Alliance. After getting a lot of chakra from the Sage of Six Paths and gaining all Tailed Beast powers, he became stronger. In the new era, Naruto is the strongest shinobi.
1. Isshiki Otsutsuki
Kaguya was brought to Earth by Isshiki Otsutsuki, but she ultimately betrayed him and left him mortally wounded. He had no choice but to assume Jigen’s identity and start planning his vengeance. Isshiki’s tremendous strength allowed him to vanquish both Naruto and Sasuke on his alone.
He could employ the power of Sukunahikona to make himself or any inanimate thing much smaller. Isshiki had the superpower of diakokuten, which allowed him to temporarily store his victims in another dimension after they were downsized. He probably would have slain Naruto and Sasuke and wiped out the rest of the world if he hadn’t been so close to death. Because of this, he is now the most powerful person in all of the Naruto stories.
