It was announced earlier this week that Southern Charm alum Naomie Olindo and her partner Metul Shah broke up after more than three years together. In April 2018, shortly after she terminated her long-term romance with Craig Conover, the couple began dating. Metul made multiple appearances during Naomie’s final season on the Bravo series, and fans had conflicting opinions about him at the time. Even though fans were pleased that Naomie was happy in her relationship, they disliked Metul’s treatment of her at times.
Who is Metul Shah?
Metul Shah has an undergraduate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. He graduated in 2017 from the same university’s medical school in which he had previously studied. Metul came to Charleston, where he completed his residency, after residing in Virginia for eight years. Alongside one of his best friends, he attended the Medical University of South Carolina. Metul is a well-known physician as well as a world traveller. Over the years, he has gone to numerous locations with and without Naomie. His travels have taken him to the United Arab Emirates, France, and Bali.
In October 2020, after finishing his residency in Charleston, Metul will begin a fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City. In July 2021, he and Namoie packed their belongings and relocated to New York City. Metul is likewise extremely family-focused. He frequently posts photographs with his parents and sister, Priyanka. However, it appears he was not sufficiently family-oriented to fully commit to Naomie.
After less than a month of living together in New York City, Naomie Olindo realized that Metul had been unfaithful to her for over a year. According to Deuxmoi, he had been texting an ex-girlfriend and the two had even gone on multiple occasions. Since then, Naomie has addressed the separation on Instagram. She acknowledged that there was a “betrayal” and apologized to anyone who “stumbled onto such dreadful messages.”
During their time on Southern Charm, Metul appeared to be the ideal man for Naomie. They seemed to complement one another and to be very happy together. Less than two years into their partnership, Metul began cheating on her. This demonstrates that he was not content with their relationship. Naomie will recuperate fully from the split and may return to the Bravo series now that she has returned to Charleston.

Olindo, 29, and Shah, 31, dated for over three years before parting up. The former couple, who had met in Charleston, moved to New York City together just 10 days before Olindo discovered that Shah had been cheating on her via social media.
Managing the rift in the public eye had its benefits. Olindo recalls, “As difficult as it was at the time, it was almost beneficial because it forced me to deal with the situation head-on, rather than pushing it off.” It made me extremely responsible for the situation.
