While Jax Taylor is filming Season 2 of The Valley, Brittany Cartwright says she “wants nothing to do with him.”

The former Vanderpump Rules stars, who wed in 2019 after meeting in 2015, will continue to collaborate after announcing their split earlier this year, but it doesn’t appear that a reconciliation is in the cards “Jax will be returning to filming The Valley for season 2 after completing his stint at a mental health facility. The source adds: “Brittany was supportive of Jax’s decision to seek help for their son’s sake. However, going forward, she’s not interested in having anything to do with him.”
Cruz Michael Cauchi, three, is the son of Cartwright, 35, and Taylor, 45. The couple announced their separation in February. Cartwright stated on their joint podcast When Reality Hits with Jax and Brittany at the time, ““Jax and I are taking time apart and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health.”
The news of their separation was disclosed prior to the season 1 premiere of The Valley in February. Cartwright disclosed at the premiere that she experienced ” a little bit of relief” since separating from Taylor, adding that she “needed this space” and it was “best for [their] family.”

Brittany has reached her limit and remains strong to do what is best for herself and her son. During this time, she’s received support from her family and friends.”
The source of the information suggests that a significant portion of their drama will be seen in the future season.
“As the new season of The Valley unfolds, a lot of shocking details will come to the surface,” the source notes. “Since nothing has been off-limits, it may end up being the most unpredictable, no-holds-barred seasons to ever appear on reality television yet.”
The source also adds, “There’s two sides to every story and Jax has his views that will be addressed once he’s back. His focus is to be amicable co-parents for the sake of their son.”
It was not possible to get in touch with a representative for Taylor and Cartwright right away for a remark. According to a representative for Bravo, the company is unable to comment on the specifics of the production.
During the first season of The Valley, fans witnessed Taylor and Cartwright having disagreements on a variety of matters, one of which being the decision to try for a second child.

She also believed that her spouse was no longer “attracted” to her, while Taylor attributed their sports bar, Jax’s Studio City, as “the one thing that is keeping Brittany and I together.”
“I just feel like I have woken up,” Cartwright said in one confessional after accusing Taylor of putting on a front for the cameras. “Like, I feel so much stronger now. I know I’ll be OK, but I know my worth and I know I do not deserve to be in a relationship like this. What was I thinking staying with him this long?”
Taylor’s admission to a mental health facility was disclosed during their separation. Taylor’s imminent departure from the in-patient treatment center was verified on August 19.
“Jax has spent the last 30 days in treatment and will be heading back home later this week,” a representative for The Valley star confirmed to PEOPLE. “It’s been an emotional month for him and he’s most looking forward to spending time with his son.
