Spanish action-adventure criminal series “Sky High: The Series,” developed by Daniel Calparsoro and Jorge Guerricaechevarra for Netflix, is a prequel to the 2021 film “Sky High.” It is set immediately after the events of the parent film. After her husband’s untimely death, Sole’s only concern is for her son and their future.
Sole, a trafficker of stolen goods, chooses to take care of her son by joining the smash-and-grab gang of her late husband to distance herself from her father and become his enemy.

What’s the Story of Sky High: The Series?
The show picks up after the movie Sky High, which comes out in 2020 and stars Miguel Herrán from Money Heist. In the first episode, Sole finds out that her husband, Ángel, has died.
But she needs to take care of their son and Ángel’s businesses, so she decides to learn more about the gangs, violence, and crime that her late husband was involved in.
Rogelio, Sole’s father, is also a gang leader. This makes him her new rival. To get what she wants, she has to stay one step ahead of him, the police, and many other enemies.
What Happens at the End of Sky High: The Series?
Sole has earned the trust of her late husband’s criminal friends and is avoiding the police until she finds out that Fernan, a new member of her gang who seems to be Ángel’s friend, is actually a cop.
He plans to get close to Rogelio, her father, through Sole, and the two of them even get together. But at the end of the series, she finds out the truth about him and her friend and coworker Mercedes, who is also working against her.
Sole then make plans for the Colombian mafia to kill Fernan and Mercedes while they are on a trip to Lagos, Nigeria. But even though they betrayed her, she changes her mind and saves them. The series ends with them all on a flight from Lagos to Madrid, Spain.
We also find out that Ángel’s ex-wife Estrella was killed by a top police officer named Ferran, who was told to do so by Rogelio. Rosa, Estrella’s sister, finds out about this and goes to tell the police. When she gets there, she sees Ferran.
Ferran finds out about this and tries to kill Rosa, but she shoots him and is then taken away by Marta, who is Mercedes’ daughter and Rogelio’s secret child, making her Sole’s sister and explaining why Ferran changed his mind about killing Mercedes.
So much drama!
