In a Season 2 Teaser, Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out Introduces Hana’s Family.

In anime, it’s usual to see two unique characters come together to create a memorable alliance. When two characters from different anime programmes come to know each other through the slow-burn relationship they choose to pursue, it’s a lovely thing. Despite the fact that their colleagues, coworkers, and family members constantly exclaim how obvious those feelings are, two heroes usually take their time realising how profoundly they care for one another.
Fortunately, because “Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!” is recognised for its comedic moments, viewers don’t mind if the protagonists of the series take their time sorting out their feelings.
The original manga series written and drawn by Taking was released in 2017 and chronicles the exploits of lonesome introvert Shinichi and exuberant high school classmate Hana as they strive to make the most of their short time together (via Anime News Network). The series’ anime adaptation, which debuted in 2020, was not long in coming. Following the conclusion of the first season, a trailer confirming a second season was released, so fans didn’t have to wait long to find out if the show will resume after that.

Who are the characters in Season 2 of Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!?
Shinichi Sakurai, a college loner, and Hana Uzaki, one of his underclassmen, were introduced in Season 1 of “Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!” They were high school classmates who, by chance, ended up attending the same college. Hana made it her mission to break Shinichi out of his shell, much to Shinichi’s chagrin, but the two became fast friends. Both series actors will return in Season 2, despite their continued denial of their feelings for one another. The majority of Season 1’s supporting cast will return.
This group includes Shinichi’s close buddy Itsuhiko Sakaki and his café employee, Ami Asai. Itsuhiko and Ami teamed up in the previous season to try to bring Hana and Shinichi together romantically. We can probably expect their romantic attempts to continue in the second season.
When it comes to new character appearances on television in the future season, we might see more of Hana’s family. Hana’s mother, Tsuki Uzaki, made a cameo last season, as did Hana’s younger brother, Kiri Uzaki, in the season finale.
Yunagi Uzaki, Hana’s younger sister, will be introduced in Season 2 according to a key image on the official animation site. Her bangs obstruct her vision as she stands in the shadows, keeping an eye on her older sister and Shinichi. This hints that Hana’s father, Fujio Uzaki, may also appear, bringing the anime series’ family reunion to a close with her siblings and mother.
