About Dhoni’s Career and Achievements

Born in Ranchi Jharkhand, the 39 year-old cricketer is the only Captain in the World to win all three Trophies- The 50-over World Cup, The T20 World Cup and the Champions Trophy, taking India to the Top of ICC Test Rankings.

 The Cool Captain made his Debut in ODI in 2004 and brought a change in the face of Indian Cricket with his indepth knowledge of game, calm attitude and his bright leadership qualities. Mahendra singh Dhoni also called by different nicknames like Mahi, Dhoni, MSD, Captain cool and Thala has played in 350 ODIs, 90 test matches and 98 T2Os for India and took over India Captaincy in 2007.

Dhoni was always known for leading the team from the front and he always was calm which helped him through the toughest situations and decision making, he was a pro in getting the best out of his players. Under his leadership India also became the top ranked test teams in 2009.

As per Former Indian Opener Gautam Gambhir –who shared a memorable-109 runs with Dhoni during the 2011 world cup final against Sri Lanka and both of them played a key role in bringing glory to India by ending India’s 28 year old wait for the World Cup, said in one of his interviews with Star Sports Show, How Dhoni lifted three ICC trophies and it’s going to be forever as no other captain would be able to achieve that and he can bet that, he also said that dhoni’s  composure under pressure and his ability to make sound decisions is what made him a great captain of India. 

It is easy for anyone to achieve 100s but no Indian Captain would be able to achieve the three ICC Trophies as M S Dhoni bringing pride to the Country, so it is going to be an unbreakable record forever.
