Cyrano is a 2021 musical romantic drama film that will be directed by Joe Wright and written by Erica Schmidt. It is based on Schmidt's 2018 stage musical of the same name, which was in turn based on the 1897 play Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand. The film stars Peter Dinklage, Haley Bennett, Kelvin Harrison Jr., and Ben Mendelsohn.
On September 2, 2021, Cyrano was shown for the first time at the 48th Telluride Film Festival. On December 17, 2021, it was shown in Los Angeles for one week. On February 25, 2022, it was to be shown in theatres all over the United States and the United Kingdom.
