Plot: What is the Story's Premise?
The Woman King is based on historical events in the Kingdom of Dahomey. One of Africa's most powerful nations during the 18th and 19th centuries. The Release Date for The Woman King has not yet been Announced
The release date for “The Woman King” has not yet been announced. However, based on the release schedule for the film's distributor, TriStar Pictures, it seems likely that it will not be released until 2023 at the earliest. Although the TriStar Pictures studio currently has more than 20 films in development (according to Movie Insider).
The studio has only announced three releases for 2022: the Whitney Houston biopic “I Wanna Dance with Somebody,” which will debut on Thanksgiving weekend 2022 (according to The Hollywood Reporter), and the “Matilda” musical, which will debut in December 2022 (according to Deadline), and the World War II drama “The Nightingale,” which will star Dakota and Elle Fanning and will be released in December 2022.
As a result, because “The Woman King” does not yet have a release date for its development to begin (according to The Cinemaholic), it is improbable that it will be released before any of those three films. And, given the fact that movies typically take 10-14 months to complete, we won't be able to view them for at least a couple of years.
