Is The Peripheral Season 2 Got Renewal at Amazon?
Amazon has renewed Season 2 of “The Peripheral” according to Variety.
Fans finally have good news: “The Peripheral” will definitely come back for a second season. The renewal was announced almost two months after the last episode aired. The show is a science fiction drama created by Scott B. Smith and made by Amazon. It's loosely based on William Gibson's 2014 book of the same name, which is set about a decade in the future.
A VR gamer can connect to an alternate reality and see her own dark future thanks to new technology that has changed society in subtle ways. On the other hand, the show's official Twitter account told its followers about the second season by writing, “Welcome back to the sim. #ThePeripheral is returning for a second season—only on @primevideo.” Check out the official posting below:

The series, which is based on the same-named novel by William Gibson, started on Amazon on Oct. 21, 2022. Under their Amazon overall deal, executive producers Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan created the show, which stars Chlo Grace Moretz.
Scott B. Smith created the series for TV and is the showrunner and executive producer. Through Kilter Films, Nolan and Joy produce as executive producers. Vincenzo Natali is the executive producer and director, and Athena Wickham and Steven Hoban are also executive producers. Kilter Films makes shows with Amazon Studios and Warner Bros. Television.

According to the official logline, the series is about Flynne Fisher (Moretz), a woman who is trying to keep her broken family together in a forgotten part of America in the future. Flynne is smart, hard-working, and doomed. She doesn't have a future until the future comes looking for her.”
