The phone in the basement of the White House finally rings. Netflix announced the release date for their new political thriller The Night Agent with a teaser that sets up a season full of both mystery and action. The drama, which stars Gabriel Basso and Luciane Buchanan and comes from the creator of Timeless, Shawn Ryan, and MiddKid Productions, will debut on the streamer on March 23, 2023.

What Will Happen in The Night Agent?
Netflix’s official summary says that The Night Agent is about Peter Sutherland, a “low-level FBI agent” who works in the basement of the White House answering a phone line that never rings.
When it does, Peter is thrown into “a fast-moving, dangerous conspiracy that leads all the way to the Oval Office.” This night changes everything. Shawn Ryan, who runs the show, says it’s like “All the President’s Men, but with car chases.”
