But only one of the 12 contestants will win the pot as a whole. One of the twelve contestants is a “mole,” whose job is to bring the group down at every turn. In the end, only one contestant will be left standing, having found the mole and won the prize money.
The show is based on a Belgian show called “De Mol,” which translates to “The Mole.” Bart De Pauw, Michel Vanhove, Michiel Devlieger, and Tom Lenaerts made the Belgian series. Primitives are in charge of selling the series.
Alex Wagner was the host of the first season of the reboot, but it’s not clear if she’ll be back for Season 2. Executive producers are Chris Culvenor, Paul Franklin, Wes Dening, Rikkie Proost, David Tibballs, and David Burris. Eureka Productions makes the show.
