What Will Happen in The Legend of Vox Machina Season 3?

The Chroma Conclave arc will continue in season 3 of Legend of Vox Machina. At New York Comic Con, this was confirmed at a panel.

At the event, Matthew Mercer talked about the plot of Vox Machina's third season. He said, “You're talking about the Chroma Conclave arc. The story arc of the Chroma Conclave is a very long one. It's a big challenge to try to fit that into a single season. We tried very hard to find out if that was even possible. It's not, and we got the go-ahead for season 3!”

Mercer's comments made it clear that the Chroma Conclave storyline would be spread out over more than one season, which means it will continue into season 3. So, it's possible that the big fight with Thordak will have to wait until then.

The plot of season 3 of Legend of Vox Machina could also start to set up the Taryon Darrington story arc. This story arc takes place after the group went to Vasselheim and defeated the Chroma Conclave with The Vestiges of Divergence. It focuses on three main stories: getting to know Darrington, the group's newest member; helping Keyleth finish the last part of her Aramenté and finally destroying Hotis for good.
