The Latest Update on Warrior Nun Season 3: Is It Got Cancellation?

Fans of Warrior Nun, get ready for some sad news: the show has been cancelled after two seasons. The fantasy action series, which took its cue from the comic book series of the same name, was a huge hit with Netflix viewers. The second season, which has recently debuted, frequently appeared in the Top 10.

Simon Barry, the show’s creator, has since confirmed that a third season will not be produced. Here is what we know about the cancellation of Warrior Nun.

Why Was Season 3 of Warrior Nun Cancelled?

There are currently two explanations as to why Warrior Nun Season 3 was cancelled, however, none of them satisfies the fans. The majority of publications claim that the cancellation of Warrior Nun Season 3 is a result of the show’s popularity.

Warrior Nun Season 2 didn’t last very long despite the success of Season 1. While three weeks on Netflix’s top ten list would be plenty for some shows to endure, Warrior Nun’s second season only spent three weeks there. Warrior Nun Season 3 won’t be occurring because of the relatively low audience and the fact that the show wasn’t as well received by critics as it should have been.

Fans have another hypothesis, however, we don’t think it fully explains why Netflix decided to cancel Warrior Nun Season 3. Nevertheless, the timing of everything seems bad, even though it may have contributed to Netflix’s decision to cancel Warrior Nun Season 3. Alba Baptista recently made headlines and became popular for something quite shocking, which prompted her to completely deactivate her Instagram account.

The 25-year-old Portuguese actress was apparently trying to send her lover, Chris Evans, a private film of herself, according to insiders. She unintentionally uploaded it to her Instagram, though. Though it was quickly taken down, many individuals were fast to save and disseminate it.

From there, social media users and media sources started formulating their theories. Some claimed that she intended to become popular and trend in order to boost interest in Warrior Nun Season 2. Yet, we think it was a sincere error.

Fans of Chris have blamed Alba, while those of Alba have blamed Chris. Within a few days after this sad and ugly incident, Netflix made the decision to cancel the third season of Warrior Nun. Due to their age difference, Alba and Chris’s relationship has already drawn a lot of attention; this has only made things worse.
