Netflix original The Haunting of house hill is an American horror drama Tv series. It is based on the novel of the same name written by Shirley Jackson. It is the first creation in the Anthology series of Netflix. Created and Mike Flanagan, the series follows the experiences of the Crain family in a haunted mansion. It includes the couple Hugh and Olivia Crain and their children Shirley, Steven, Theodora (Theo), Luke, and Eleanor (Nell).
The series consists of 10 episodes that premiered on October 12, 2018, on Netflix.

The Plot of the Haunting of House Hill Season 2. What to Expect From It?
The story follows the two plots, the present condition of the Crain family and flashbacks. The Crain family consist of Couple Hugh and Olivia and their five children-Steven, Shirley, Theodora, Luke, and Eleanor (Nell)
We saw in season 1 that the Crain family move to hill house in 1922 for its renovation. The couple Hughe and Olivia wanted to sell it at a good price to buy their dream house. However, they soon started to feel the paranormal activities. One night the incident was so horrific that they had to left the mansion at night. Unfortunately, Olivia got trapped in the hill house and died. Children had grown up, and Steve wrote a novel about their horrific experience in the mansion. Soon after that, strange activities started to happen with them.
Knell’s childhood dreams started to haunt her again. She lost her boyfriend to all. She tried to contact her family but failed. He later went to the hill house and got killed there.
Though Steve had written a novel about their haunting experiences, he did not believe in the ghost until he saw Knell’s ghost from his own eyes.
Sherly is a Mortician. She opened a funeral house with her husband, where they mortify the bodies. On the other hand, Theo possesses some supernatural power of reading the thoughts of others. Luke became a drug addict due to his past experiences.
After the death of Knell, they all gather in a Funeral house to discusses it. Later they went to hill house and got locked in the red room, a virtual room of death. Their father sacrificed himself to save his children. After two years, the whole family lives together happily.
Season 2 took place in Bly state. The story is about a couple who is hired by a man to look after his niece and nephew. They were unaware of the unfortunate things that were going to happen to them. After arriving at the Bly estate, They began to experience some paranormal activities in the house.
