The Elder Scrolls 6: Release Date, Trailer, and More.

People are still asking inquiries about The Elder Scrolls 6, despite the fact that it is years away. Fans were ecstatic when the game’s existence was confirmed in a trailer released in 2018. Since then, though, there hasn’t been anything on the title. In truth, there wasn’t much of an upgrade during this year’s E3, albeit Starfield received some attention.
The Elder Scrolls 5:
Skyrim, or just Skyrim, has enthralled Bethesda fans for years. Skyrim, released before the iconic The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, explored the concept of open-world games, provided seemingly endless material, and even created a slew of memes. Skyrim was even ported to consoles, and DLC was released to enhance the game’s already vast realm. The Anniversary Edition of Skyrim was released in November 2021 and contains a decade’s worth of content. Fans, on the other hand, can’t help but be curious about what the next installment may bring.
Everything we know about The Elder Scrolls 6 is listed below.
The release date for The Elder Scrolls 6:
There is no set date for the release of The Elder Scrolls 6. The only thing we know for sure is that it’ll be after Starfield. According to Bethesda’s Todd Howard, the game is still in the design phase, which is one of the early stages of development.
In an interview with Geoff Knightley, Howard commented, “I would say The Elder Scrolls 6 is in pre-production, and Starfield is in production.” He also put it like way: ‘Starfield is playable.’ Is there a sixth installment of The Elder Scrolls? That hasn’t happened yet.’
With Starfield, Bethesda has a lot on its plate. Due to their similar engine, Creation Engine 2, Howard told fans that work on Starfield would also cross over to Elder Scrolls. Starting with Starfield entails learning the engine such that working on The Elder Scrolls 6 is a lot easier than it would have been otherwise.
Some had anticipated release dates in the early 2020s, but with Starfield not arriving until November of this year, it’s looking more towards the middle of the decade. Tyler McVicker, a game industry insider, even predicted it might arrive as late as 2027.
To be honest, Howard claims that The Elder Scrolls 6 will be a ten-year project. Creating such a long-lasting game is no easy task, and it will almost certainly take a long time to complete.
Skyrim appears to have remained relevant across console releases, being a best-seller on almost every platform it’s been released on—a trend that has persisted since its release. Howard and other Bethesda executives hope that The Elder Scrolls 6 follows in its footsteps in this regard.

The Elder Scrolls 6 trailer:
There isn’t much to the Elder Scrolls 6 trailer. It’s more like a 30-second panorama of the game’s stated environment that verifies its existence. Despite this, this trailer has the most official hints that any fan can decipher.
What Is the Location of the Elder Scrolls 6?

The Elder Scrolls 6’s specific location has yet to be determined. Because of the rugged environment shown in the teaser, many fans feel it could be either High Rock or Hammerfell. This notion has been bolstered by the fact that we’ve been given possible clues in the 2021 Starfield Teaser Trailer, which appears to show an outline of High Rock and Hammerfell.
The Redfall subreddit was mistakenly dedicated to The Elder Scrolls 6 due to an unfortunate but hilarious misunderstanding regarding the name, according to TechRaptor. They thought Redfall, like The Elder Scrolls: Redfall, was a subtitle for The Elder Scrolls 6. It was not the case.
The Elder Scrolls 6 Gameplay:
Bethesda’s gameplay for The Elder Scrolls 6 will most likely be based on that of The Elder Scrolls Online and Skyrim. The studio, on the other hand, has remained tight-lipped regarding new features and the like. At the very least, Bethesda stated that they would be employing the new Creation Engine 2 to produce the game.
However, we do know that the legendary Skyrim Grandma will appear as an NPC. Shirley Curry (a.k.a. Skyrim Grandma) has been streaming Skyrim for years, and Bethesda has confirmed that she will appear in The Elder Scrolls 6 after a petition from fans.

Platforms for The Elder Scrolls 6:
Bethesda has yet to clarify which platforms The Elder Scrolls 6 will support. Given that Microsoft currently controls Bethesda, the game is almost certain to be released on PC and Xbox Series X/S. Maybe even Xbox One in the future if it’s still relevant.
Will the Elder Scrolls Vi Be Released on Playstation 5?
When it was announced that Starfield would not be coming to the PS5, Sony fans were sad, and while there is always hope for Elder Scrolls 6, things aren’t looking good right now.
Todd Howard didn’t confirm or deny exclusivity in an interview, but he did state that it’s “hard to envision” it lasting Xbox-exclusive. Meanwhile, Xbox boss Phil Spencer has hinted that it will not be released on the PS5.
According to Forbes, some of these reluctant replies may be due to how cloud gaming may become crucial in the coming years. That technology has the potential to upend exclusivity agreements in a hurry.
To summarise, it is still too early to say for certain.
Pre-orders for The Elder Scrolls 6:
