Paramount+ Has Scheduled a Premiere Date for the Challenge: All Stars 3.
The original Challengers are making a comeback! We now know when The Challenge: All-Stars 3 will return on Paramount+, following a tease at the end of the All-Stars 2 finale.
The streaming service will debut All Stars 3 on May 11th. According to the press announcement, host TJ Lavin will lead “an unparalleled lineup of 24 of the most iconic, boldest, and fiercest challengers” in Panama as their “physical and emotional boundaries” will be tested to establish who is the best of the best.
The Challenge: War of the Worlds, a brand-new worldwide spin-off, is also coming to Paramount+ (but no, this is not The Challenge: War of the Worlds 3). Yes, it’s a little perplexing because fans have already seen two seasons of the main Challenge franchise, War of the Worlds and War of the Worlds 2, but this is something completely new.
The Challenge: War of the Worlds, according to the press announcement, will bring together winners from four different spinoffs. (We warned you it would be perplexing.) The champions of The Challenge: CBS (working title), The Challenge: Argentina, The Challenge: Australia, and The Challenge: The United Kingdom will compete for the title of first-ever Challenge world champion in The Challenge: War of the Worlds. It’s a “two-part worldwide tournament,” according to the video above.
That’s all well and good, but when will the regular Challenge be reinstated?!
It’s unclear whether any of these spinoffs will involve cast members from prior seasons, however, The Challenge: CBS promises “reality titans from the CBS world,” so maybe some of the Big Brother guys will be able to appear there. To cut a long tale short, it all sounds very huge and wonderful, but we’re still waiting for word about our favorite flagship show.
