The script for this follow-up reportedly evolved from an earlier project called The Movie Critic, which was once intended to be Tarantino’s tenth and final film.
Further reports disclosed that Brad Pitt persuaded Tarantino to share the script with David Fincher, who has an overall deal with Netflix. This led to the project being fast-tracked. When Will Production Begin on The Adventures of Cliff Booth?
Filming was initially scheduled to start on July 16, 2025, but recent updates indicate a new start date of July 28, 2025. The shoot is planned to last six months, with filming expected to conclude by January 16, 2026. Production will take place in Los Angeles, similar to the original film.
