Produced by Luc Besson, the series first hit the screen on February 27, 2017, on NBC. Season 1 ran for 10 episodes which concluded on May 1, 2017. The series received a good response from the viewers. Consequently, NBC renewed the series for the second installment. The second season ran for 16 episodes from January 12, 2018, to June 30, 2018. January 12, 2018. Initially, NBC renewed the series on April 18, 2018. However, on May 26, 2018, NBC canceled the series.

Will Taken Return for Season 3?

Before answering the question, we have to look few things. The direction of the series changed after the first season. The result was not good. The rating of the series kept declining after season 1. The rating of the series is also not good. Therefore, we can not find a single reason to renew the series for the third installment. The Plot of Taken? What to Expect From Season 3?

The story revolves around Bryan Mills. While he was traveling with his sister on the train, somebody attacked his sister and killed him. Carlos Mejia, who was a terrorist and a drug dealer had killed his sister. He wanted to take revenge on him, so he became a CIA operative in Director of National Intelligence. However, due to his trauma of losing his sister, he would not be able to focus on his work. He got intense training and acquired new skills to catch Mejia to fulfill his revenge. Season 1 totally focuses on the training and killings by Mills to finally reach Mejia.

In season 2 Mills got trapped in a Mexican prison while completing a mission. However, he escaped from there. He later became part of a plane crash and got trapped with a murder witness. Later, he survived from different terrorists and hunters to reach home.

The series involves total procedural drama.

The creators have not revealed the plot for season 3 of the series so far. However, we guess that season 3 will start from where season 2 ended.

However, some fans still want to watch Taken 3 and giving an online request to NBC on Twitter to renew the series for the third installment.
