When will Strange World 2 come out? We all love a good Disney movie, but, you guessed it, the only thing that’s better than a Disney movie is a Disney movie sequel. Strange World is based on pulp magazines and old science fiction movies, and its beautiful visuals have won over audiences. But will the animated movie get a sequel? The good news is that at least Don Hall and Qui Nguyen seem ready.

Strange World 2 Release Date
Strange World bombed at the box office, so it’s unlikely that a sequel will ever be made. Still, miracles have happened, and we won’t stop wondering about them because of that.
If there is a Strange Worlds 2, we probably won’t hear about it until the next Disney Plus Day, which will be in the fall of 2023. This is when the House of Mouse usually makes big announcements about upcoming projects.
The first movie was announced in December 2021, and it came out in theatres a little less than a year later. So, if a sequel is announced at the end of 2023, it probably won’t come out until late 2024 at the earliest.
But it’s important to remember that animated movies take a lot longer to make than live-action ones, so if we’re being realistic, a Strange Worlds sequel might not even be announced until the Disney Plus day in 2024 and might not come out until late 2025 or even 2026.

What Will Happen in Strange World 2?
At the end of Strange World, the Searcher Clan and Avalonia find a way to power their community without using Pando, which is made from plants. Searcher’s son Ethan Clade went on to become an explorer, just like his grandfather Jaeger, who comes back to society after 25 years away.
Strange World ends in a way that ties up all of its main plots, but the story could go on by following Ethan’s new adventures as an explorer who now collects things other than pando. Now that the Clade family knows what’s under Avalonia, Strange World 2 could learn more about the world and the living thing that holds it all together.
