The show consists of three producers Ester Dean, Ryan Tedder, and Shane. They have to form a team with songwriters. They together create the music and record the song with a singer. For each episode, the first 4 songwriters have to give an audition of the songs they had written.
Soon after the song ends, They get feedback from the guest artists and producers. Out of four songwriters, the producers and guest artists select the three best songwriters. Each one works with one producer to finally produce a masterpiece. These songs are again sung by singers. Ultimately, out of three, one song becomes the winner.
