An American science fiction thriller based on the COVID-19 pandemic, Songbird is scheduled for release in 2020. The show features Michael Bay, Adam Goodman, Andrew Sugerman, and Eben Davidson.
The film is directed by one of the most popular directors Adam Mason from a script he co-wrote with Simon Boyes. KJ Apa, Sofia Carson, Craig Robinson, Bradley Whitford, Peter Stormare, Alexandra Daddario, Paul Walter Hauser, and Demi Moore are all in the cast.
Screenwriters Adam Mason and Simon Boyes came up with the idea in March when the pandemic had completely blocked all film production.
