In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, he commented, “The world is opening up again, and so is my mouth.”

Based on his trip bucket list, we can make some educated judgments about Rosenthal’s culinary preferences. “Somebody Feed Phil” Season 5 is expected to premiere in 2022. Filming for the season has yet to begin, and no date has been set for its production. Netflix has yet to announce a release date. According to Fine Dining Lovers, Rosenthal was mulling over travel destinations as recently as March, and a snapshot on Twitter showed him in Los Angeles as recently as June 15.

The show producers are required to shoot ten episodes, the most ever ordered by the show. Seasons 3 and 4 were shot over five months, from August 2019 to January 2020, under non-COVID conditions (via TheWrap).

The third season of “Somebody Feed Phil” debuted on Netflix in May of last year, more than a year after the show’s first two seasons aired. Season 4 has already been filmed and will premiere in October 2020, according to a separate story from TheWrap. Netflix’s 2020 schedule isn’t indicative of what the streaming service will do now or in 2022, provided there aren’t any future lockdowns. “Somebody Feed Phil” fans might still hope for Season 5’s release in April of 2022.
