Shawn Kemp, a Former NBA Player, is Arrested for Shooting Someone in a Drive-by!

Shawn Kemp, a former NBA player, was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly being involved in a drive-by shooting, according to a Pierce County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson and online jail records.

The sheriff’s spokesman, Darren Moss Jr., told the press on Wednesday that Kemp, who is 53 years old, was being held at Pierce County Jail. But there is no information about the details of the alleged event at this time.

Shawn Kemp, who has been an NBA All-Star six times, played professional basketball for a long time. From 1989 to 2003, he played for 14 seasons. He is known for his work with the Seattle SuperSonics during the first eight years of his career. Kemp started playing in the NBA right after he graduated from high school. At the time, he was one of the few players to be drafted without having played college basketball.
