Former Member of Rajya Sabha and RJD Leader Sharad Yadav Died at 75
Sharad Yadav, a former union minister, and veteran socialist leader passed away on Friday (January 13). As a token of respect, the Bihar government proclaimed a state of mourning on that date. The office of the chief minister released a statement announcing a state of mourning.
Nitish Kumar expressed his condolences on Yadav’s passing by stating, “I had a very close relationship with Sharad Yadav Ji. I am astonished and heartbroken to hear about his passing. It has resulted in catastrophic damage to the social and political spheres.
Thursday, January 12th, 75-year-old Sharad Yadav passed away at a private hospital in Gurugram after he was brought there disoriented and unresponsive. He had collapsed at his apartment in Chhatarpur.

Sharad Yadav Cause of Death?
Sharad Yadav was born on 1 July 1947 in the Madhya Pradesh hamlet of Babai to Nand Kishore Yadav and Sumitra Yadav. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Robertson College Jabalpur and then a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Jabalpur Engineering College.
On February 15, 1989, the politician wed Rekha Yadav, with whom he has a daughter and a son. Before the 2020 Bihar Legislative Assembly elections, her daughter joined the INC party.
Yadav Ji was a member of the Rajya Sabha from 1986 to 1989, 2004 to 2009, and from 2014 to 2017. Throughout his career as a politician, he held many government positions for the country’s advancement. Additionally, he served as chairman of the Committee on industry and other communities.

Who Was Sharad Yadav?
Former JDU leader Sharad Yadav passed away on Thursday. He was 75. His daughter Subhashini relayed the news of his passing. A former JDU leader was discovered unconscious in his own home.
According to the statement, Sharad Yadav was transported to the hospital in a state of unconsciousness. His physique had no use. Following the examination, it was determined that his nerves had ceased beating. Even blood pressure was not recorded.
Afterward, CPR was performed. Repeated attempts to reestablish the heartbeat were unsuccessful. Following this, at 10:19, Sharad Yadav stated that he was dead. Due to his condition, he was limited in his political involvement. He was a patient with kidney issues.
He was a member of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) political party. Seven times elected to the Lok Sabha and three times elected to the Rajya Sabha from JD (U). He was the first national president of Janata Dal (United) from the party’s inception in 2003 till its dissolution in 2016.
Sharad Yadav launched the Loktantrik Janata Dal in 2018 in response to the Janata Dal (Unitedre-alignment )’s with the BJP in Bihar. For indulging in anti-party activities, he was removed from party leadership positions and disqualified from the Rajya Sabha.
He was thereafter admitted to the Fortis Hospital of Gurugram, where he breathed his last. The Fortis Memorial Research Institute has released a statement detailing Sharad Yadav’s cause of death.
