Shameless Season 12: Is It Renewed or Cancelled?
Shameless is a long-running TV show that has been on for 10 years and 11 seasons. It tells the story of Frank Gallagher, who is a proud single dad to six smart, hardworking, and independent kids whose lives have been harder because their alcoholic father has made things worse for them.
This comedy-drama TV show was created by John Wells and went on to become Showtime’s longest-running original scripted show. In January 2020, the 11th season was announced, and it began airing in December 2020. On April 11, 2021, the last episode of the season and the whole show aired.
Showtime said that this season of the popular show would be it’s last. The audience liked the show, and fans hoped against all odds that it would be picked up for a second season. Here is what we know about future episodes of Shameless.
About the Series Shameless
In the Shameless series, there was a father and six kids. The father drank too much, which led to his dementia in the end. Fiona, the oldest daughter, had to take care of the family on her own, and they often had to steal food and money to stay alive.
Shameless is a fast-paced dramedy with a good mix of drama and comedy. The show is funny and has many memorable scenes, but it’s not all jokes. In some episodes, the Gallaghers’ poverty, tragedy, and bad decisions are often very sad.
“Shameless” is well-known for many different things. It’s written so well that it flows easily from funny, sometimes silly situations and stories to very serious, often deep, dark drama. That is very hard to do, and people rarely succeed at it.
Shameless Season 12 Renewal Status
When the eleventh season of Shameless was announced, it was said that it would be the last. Even the official description of the show said, “It’s the last call, and the Gallaghers are going out with a bang like no other band has ever done before.
When the changes come, they will have to step up or hit the road, but they know one thing for sure: no matter how much time passes, the Gallaghers will never grow apart.
On the other hand, Showtime has announced that Shameless Hall of Shame, a six-part limited series, will take the place of season 12. During season 11, there will be a look back at what happened in previous seasons.
It has both new and original Shameless scenes and a look back at each character’s life. Overall, it was a great way to end the series.

Review of Season 11 of Shameless
At the end of Season 11 of Shameless, we saw Officer Tipping suggest that they buy the Alibi together and turn it into a police bar. After that, Liam finds Frank when he wakes up from his overdose and wanders off to places that remind him of his past because of his dementia.
On the other hand, Frank is taken to the hospital after he breaks into a church. There, he tests positive for coronavirus and later gets very sick. Later, he talks about his family and the past. Right before he dies, Frank’s ghost shows up at the party and floats away over the city on his barstool.
The rest of the family is then shown having a good time at the party while a gentrifier’s Tesla catches fire outside the bar. Frank’s body is burned, but later it explodes from the heat because he still had a lot of alcohol in his body. Let’s wait and see what comes next.
