What Happens in Season 2 of Crash Landing on You?
The story of Yoon Se-ri (Son Ye-jin), a South Korean heiress of a big corporate group, is told in ‘Crash Landing on You.’ She also runs her own business, Se-Choice, RI’s to supplement her income and avoid her envious stepmother’s wrath.
She goes paragliding one day and is trapped in an unexpected tornado. Captain Ri Jeong-hook encounters her when she crashes lands in North Korea (Hyun Bin).
Yoon Se-elder Ari’s brother took over the family business while she was away, and his wife wanted to gain Se-Choice RI’s as well. They worked hard to keep Se-ri from returning after learning that she was still alive.
Yoon Se-ri and Captain Ri Jeong-hook spend a lot of time together throughout the series as the latter seeks to sneak Yoon Se-ri back to South Korea. Yoon Se-ri is exposed to the trials and struggles of North Korea while living in a distant country. She learns to value the small pleasures in life.
Their unfortunate meeting had a positive impact on both of their lives. Yoon Se-ri returns to South Korea and transforms into a far more kind and generous CEO. Captain Ri is allowed to pursue his musical ambitions.
The two were reunited in Switzerland at the end of the series. Jeong-hyeok was dismissed from the military and went on to work as a professional pianist in North Korea.
