Scream was the first big movie of the 2022 season. The movie has been a big hit with both critics and fans of the series. It has made almost $140 million around the world, which is a lot. Because the fifth instalment was so popular, a sequel was quickly approved, and now fans know when they’ll be yelling for the next one again.
A movie called Scream 6 is set to come out on March 31, 2023, for Paramount and Spyglass. There isn’t a big movie coming out on that date yet. If there was, Ghostface might have scared people away.
A lot of people might be scared by how quickly this came out. However, Radio Silence’s Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett are back to direct the movie, and James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick are back to write the screenplay. This means that the series is still in good hands.
It’s also being made by Vanderbilt and Paul Neinstein, as well as by William Sherak, as well as by Kevin Williamson and Chad Villella again as producers.
They did an amazing job with the franchise, and it was nothing short of amazing. It did a great job of honouring the memory of Wes Craven, but at the same time, it was exciting and new at the same time. The movie was a lot of fun, bloody, and scary, but it also had a lot of insightful genre commentary and real emotional risks. It is safe to presume that Scream 6 will be the same until proven differently.
Who is Going to Star in Scream 6?
It’s safe to say that, unless Bettinelli-Olpin and Gillett use flashbacks or mysterious resurrections like “The X Files,” none of the people who died in their requel will be back in the follow-up. David Arquette’s Dewey Riley is one of them, but he won’t be back.
There are still many people alive and well at the end of the movie, including the new final girl Sam Carpenter (Melissa Barrera), reporter Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox), and Sidney Prescott, the original final girl (Neve Campbell).
On the “Just for Variety With Marc Malkin” podcast, Cox said that she’ll be back for the sixth instalment, though she hadn’t yet read the script. She said that on the podcast (via Bloody Disgusting). As for Sid, Campbell’s old friend, her return will depend on who plays her.
In February, during a question-and-answer session at the Mad Monster Party horror event. Campbell said that even though she had been asked about reprising her role, she isn’t sure if she wants to do it again. If I read the script, I’ll see how I feel.
It’s still unclear if Barrera will be on the show again, but the star told The Hollywood Reporter that she would love to come back. “There’s nothing I would rather do,” she said. There haven’t been any announcements about the return of the three survivors who were killed: Tara (Jenna Ortega), Chad (Mason Gooding), and Mindy (Jasmin Savoy Brown). They might come back, though, if Scream 6 and Scream 2 look a lot like each other.

It’s Called Scream 6. What is the Plot?
“Scream 6” hasn’t been released yet, so we don’t know much about how the masked slasher story will be continued. One of the movie’s stars had not yet read the script when she recently spoke to the media. Nonetheless, there’s a lot one can expect from a movie of this kind.
There’s likely to be a spree killer, and that spree killer will likely be wearing an Edvard Munch-style white mask. As the killer closes in on their prey, the survivors of the previous films will likely team up and turn suspiciously on each other. Most moviegoers won’t know who the killer is until the end, except for that one friend who always knows 10 minutes into the movie.
So, while it’s unclear how the tale will unfold, it could be interesting to revisit the plot of “Scream 2” to see what “Scream 2022” could be about. First, a film about the events of the first film is released. Then, a copycat killer terrorises the residents of Woodsboro, California, after the film.
In the end, Sidney’s movie-obsessed friend Mickey (Timothy Olyphant), who looks like Skeet Ulrich, is revealed to be the killers. Mrs. Loomis, the mother of the original killer, is shown to have started a revenge plan of her own right after her son was killed in “Scream.”
In “Scream 6,” will Amber (Mikey Madisonfamily )’s or friends come back to avenge her death? It’s possible, but we’ll have to wait and see.

When Does Scream 6 Come Out?
For Scream 6, when can fans look forward to seeing Ghostface back on the screen again? The sequel was confirmed in February 2022, and production was set to start in the summer of that year. Paramount recently said that the next Scream movie will be out on March 31, 2023. People in Woodsboro are going to be killed a lot in the next few years!
The previous several years have demonstrated that film release dates can and do alter at the last minute. People who like horror movies should plan to go see Scream on March 31.
