The 61-year-old Bollywood actor, Sanjay Balraj Dutt has been through a lot of ups and down in his whole life, and now when Coronavirus is already killing people the actor got diagnosed with the deadly disease.
About Sanjay Dutt
The famous actor is born and brought up in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and has acted in 187 films till now. The son of two actors Sunil Dutt and Nargis made his acting debut in Rocky in 1981, and the movie was directed by his father. Sanjay Dutt has been awarded several awards including 2 Filmfare awards and three-screen awards. The actor was sentenced to jail under the TADA and Arms act in April 1993 and was found guilty for possession of illegal weapons used by others in the 1993 bomb blastings. In 2018, Sanju -a biopic based on Sanjay Dutt’s life was released which gained positive reviews and became the highest grosser of Indian Cinema.
Sanjay Dutt’s Illness
The Sadak 2 actor was rushed to Lilavati hospital in Mumbai on 8th August when he complained of breathing problems, where he was admitted in ICU and was treated for the improper functioning of Respiratory organs, Dutt was discharged on Monday. When he complained about breathing issues it was assumed that he has been infected by Coronavirus but as per the latest medical protocol a rapid antigen test was conducted to check same but it came out to be negative and the actor had also tweeted as well that he is feeling better, for tweet check the link https://twitter.com/duttsanjay/status/1292148318148026368?s=20
Post Covid-19 test results, a swab test was conducted which reconfirmed the breathing problems and congestion were not due to coronavirus. Later it was reported that he had developed fluid in his chest and the diagnosis revealed the disease stage 4 Lung Cancer. The news of Sanju Baba diagnosed with cancer has given a big shock to everyone in Bollywood Industry as well as his fans. We just can’t imagine what he himself must be going through after hearing this, one of his friends said that he is devastated with this news where he has small kids and breaking this awful news to them would be very painful, but the good thing is that the kids are currently with their mother in Dubai due to Coronavirus Lockdown. Though the Lung cancer is curable and the actor is pretty sure about this, he is still shaken to the core and that’s pretty normal as Cancer word itself is enough to shake anyone’s roots. The actor is said to fly to US for the medical treatment as he needs instant and rigorous treatment.
We all know that Sanjay Dutt is a fighter and he will fight the Aggressive form of this cancer as well. The fan’s prayers and wishes for the speedy recovery of Sanju Baba are with him and his family as he gets himself treated. We are all sure that ‘Baba’ will bounce back like he always did.
