Tina Turner’s Son Ronnie Turner Died at 62: Cause of Death Explained
Last Thursday, American musician, composer, bandleader, record producer, and talent scout Ronnie Turner, son of Tina Turner and Ike Turner, passed away. Friday, his wife and mother broke the awful news.
Tina Turner stated on her Instagram account, “Ronnie, you gone too soon.” “When I close my eyes, I think of you,” she added. In addition to Tina Turner, Afida Turner, Ronnie’s wife, also paid tribute to her husband on social media, referring to him as a “genuine angel” and her “best friend.”
Ronnie Turner was discovered dead at his home in Los Angeles, and there was nothing that could have saved him. His wife phoned the emergency services, but he was gone before they arrived. He seems to have had difficulties breathing. As soon as the paramedics arrived at her residence, they observed his neighbour administering CPR, but he was immediately pronounced dead.
Ronnie Turner’s cause of death is unknown, as he was not diagnosed with any health illness that could have caused his death. However, he was diagnosed with cancer in the past. Therefore, it is possible that his condition deteriorated suddenly and that cancer cells attacked him at the most inopportune period, leaving him and his loved ones defenceless.
Ronnie Turner was Tina Turner’s fourth and youngest son, and he appeared in her 1993 biography, “What’s Love Got To Do With It?” The biopic included the acting talents of Laurence Fishburne, Angela Bassett, Ika Turner, and Tina Turner. Craig Turner, Ronnie’s brother, committed suicide at the age of 59 in 2018. He committed suicide at his Studio City residence.
He was Tina Turner’s eldest son and Ronnie Turner’s older brother. He was a real estate dealer. He was the 18-year-old kid she had with musician Raymond Hill. In 1962, after Tina’s marriage to Ike Turner, Ike adopted Craig as his son. When she fell in love with Ike Turner, who was five years younger than her, she was just 22 years old.
After singing together in a Manhattan nightclub, the couple had a passionate relationship. They dated for several years and even travelled to Tijuana, Mexico to get married. Tina’s most heartbreaking memory of Craig’s passing was scattering his ashes with family and friends. Tina regarded him as “always a baby” despite his age of 59.
Tina Turner, like Ike Turner, adopted two of Ike’s children: Ike Jr. and Michael. After nearly two decades together as husband and wife, she and Ike divorced in 1978. Later, she wed German music producer Erwin Bach, who was her companion for over three decades until 2013.

Tina has seen the passing of her two beloved sons. She is a resilient woman who has overcome the two hardest experiences of her life. Although one was 59 years old and the other was 62 years old, they are still her sons and nothing can ever change that. Also, Afida is going through a difficult time, and what they are seeking at the moment is privacy.
Tina has created a fantastic life for herself and her family, so it is no surprise that she is known as the Rock ‘n’ Roll Queen.
Her trademark throaty growl and voluminous hair helped her become a rock icon at the age of 44 when she released the song “Private Dancer.” It was her moment of triumph. It set the path for her subsequent success with singles such as “I Can’t Stand the Rain” and “What’s Love Got to Do With It?”
