Riverdale Season 8 Plot: What to Expect with the Storyline?
The first season of Riverdale was initially released in 2017. The show was produced under the CW and the show became a massive hit for the network. After being produced by the network, the show maker decided to give the streaming rights to Netflix, which was one of the popular Rising streaming platforms for the people.
Aguirre-Sacasa revealed that the seventh and final season is “probably, weirdly, our most grounded season.”
She said, “Thank god the ’50s were as crazy as they were because it’s been so fun to be in that world,” he said. “Every season we explore the tropes of a specific genre, be it supernatural, be it pulp, be it a crime. This year our genre is the 1950s, so we’re in dialogue with the American myth of what the 1950s were versus the reality.”

Camila Mendes, who appeared in the show as Veronica Lodge posted a heartfelt post and confirmed the conclusion of the show, the post reads, “That’s a wrap on Veronica 💔 there’s no caption or photo dump that can illustrate what an emotional experience it’s been filming our last episode of Riverdale.
I’m not just saying goodbye to a TV show, I’m saying goodbye to an entire life I created in Vancouver, to a transformative period that shaped me as an adult, to a community of people who have seen the best and worst of me throughout seven intense seasons. it doesn’t matter how ready you are to move on, goodbyes are painful, and walking away from this show will be a process of mourning for all of us.
While writing further, she said, “To our loyal fans, thank you for actively supporting me on this journey with all the gifts, flowers, and balloons. the handmade art and handwritten letters. I have endless appreciation for you guys. Thank you for showing Veronica the love that she deserves.
