The Narrative of Riverdale Season 6

The sixth season opened with the five-episode crossover arc “Rivervale,” which was the season’s first episode. This narrative continued off just where season 5 left off, with Archie and Betty rekindling their romance just before a bomb under Archie’s bed was about to detonate, bringing the series to a close.

But the bomb didn’t explode, and the couple found themselves waking up in Rivervale, a much darker version of the show’s setting where ghosts, demons, witches, and curses are the rule rather than the exception, forcing them to try and figure out a way to return to their original universe.

We were welcomed back to the original town with enthusiasm in the second half of Riverdale season 6, and with Hiram Lodge expelled from the town, the story returns to the same catastrophic explosion and follows our heroes as they deal with the aftereffects of their stay in Rivervale.

As is always the case in Riverdale, nothing is ever straightforward, and new developments swiftly emerge… at the very least, Barchie and Betty are finally together!

What Exactly Will be the Focus of Riverdale Season 6?

A lot of this is going to be determined by the outcome of the time-jump scenario. Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, Cheryl, and Toni will all be in their mid-20s before we know it, with completely different lifestyles and careers, as well as (hopefully) mysteries to solve in their respective worlds.
