When the Simmba actor launched IncInk, he said how as an outsider in Bollywood, he always wanted to support talent in every street of the country. Which is why when he came up with the idea along with filmmaker and music evangelist Navzar, he knew it was his calling. And now, here he is bringing the different sounds of India just for you!

 Celebrating the sounds of India:

Ranveer’s record label recently announced that soon they will release Shwapon (dreams), a Bengali folk song with rap and hip-hop. Singer Chaitnya Sharma who goes by SlowCheeta will join forces with Bengali folk singer Dipannita Acharya for this beautiful blend. The track is also a part of the Rok Nahi Paayenga EP sung by the label’s homegrown talent, i.e, SlowCheeta.

Talking about his favourite track, Ranveer said that it is the mix of genres that make this song very special. Speaking further about it, he also mentions how it has always been his dream to bring unique sounds and music to the forefront and this song does just that. Well, now we just can’t wait to hear it!

The actor expressed his love and respect for rapper SlowCheeta greatly. He finds himself identifying with the rapper’s lyrics and the shared background.

Ranveer defines Cheeta’s style as something that is laidback and has an easy vibe, but just when one gets comfortable, lo and behold the rapper throws something one doesn’t see coming. Painting quite a picture, eh Ranveer?

Despite the easygoing personality, Ranveer admires the aggression and grit in Cheeta and the multiple facets he has that makes him the artist that he is today. Our eyes almost welled up with tears hearing that.

 Humble beginnings and the journey:

The label’s first single and music video was Zeher performed by Kaam Bhaari a.k.a. Kunal. Ever since, 7 more music videos and multiple EPs including the label’s first romantic track, Kaam Bhaari’s Mohabbat. The rapper and composer has also written the infamous song Kab Se Kab Tak from Gully Boy.

What’s in store for Ranveer in the future?

On the work front, Ranveer Singh will soon be seen in the highly anticipated Kapil Dev biopic titled 83. Initially, rumoured to release later in 2020, there has been no news regarding its further release or any digital release.
