What is the date that Prey 2 will be out? Finally, Prey is on Disney Plus, and it’s a huge hit. Critics have praised the fifth Predator movie, which is a prequel to the events of the first Arnold Schwarzenegger movie. Some have even called it the best Predator sequel we’ve ever had.

In his review of Prey, our own Anthony McGlynn said that the Predator movie was “second only to the original” and that it was a bold new take on the original story that pushed the limits of what an action movie could do. This is very high praise, especially since the first one is one of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s best movies ever.

Prey 2 Release Date

As was already said, Prey 2 hasn’t been confirmed, so we don’t know when it will come out. From May to September 2021, the first movie was made. It came out on August 5, 2022. If the movie is made around the same time as the first one, in 2023, then it could come out in August 2024.

If there is a sequel, we should know more about when it might come out. We think that, like the first movie, the movie will be on Disney+ in the UK and Hulu in the US.

Who Would Be in the Cast of Prey 2?

In the first movie, the Predator killed a lot of people, but Naru, played by Amber Midthunder, gave it a run for its money. We think Naru will be back in the sequel if there is one.

The Predator killed Naru’s brother Taabe (played by Dakota Beavers), which was sad for her. Aruka, played by Michelle Thrush, is still around and could come back in Prey 2.

The only other character who could come back is Julian Black Antelope’s War Chief Kehetu since we assume that if we do see Naru again, she’ll be a full-fledged hunter after her actions in the first movie, which earned her the respect of the War Chief.

If we did get a sequel, it’s just as likely that it would start a whole new story or jump ahead in time. But that would be a shame because Midthunder has gotten a lot of praise for playing Naru. Dane DiLiegro, a former basketball player, played the Predator in Prey. Naru killed this Predator, but DiLiegro could come back to play a different Predator in the next movie.

What Would Happen in the Prey 2?

Well, the animated end credits, which show a lot of the movie’s action, end with a scary scene that makes you think there’s more to come.

In the last images, Naru is standing with her people, but from above, you can see three ships that belong to the alien Predators. This shows that a new, even bigger threat has appeared, and they may be looking for the Predator Naru killed.

But if there is a second Prey movie, we can probably expect the unexpected, given what director Dan Trachtenberg has said about taking the Predator franchise to new places.
