This year, Peacock is expected to release a new television series. Rian Johnson, who previously worked on Star Wars: The Last Jedi and the Academy Award-nominated Knives Out, is the creator of Poker Face. Variety reports that showrunners are remaining tight-lipped regarding the actual narrative of the series, stating, “Further plot and character elements are being kept under wraps.”
What is known is that the show will be a “case-of-the-week” mystery thriller and that it has successfully secured some of Hollywood's most bankable performers.
