This year, Peacock is expected to release a new television series. Rian Johnson, who previously worked on Star Wars: The Last Jedi and the Academy Award-nominated Knives Out, is the creator of Poker Face. Variety reports that showrunners are remaining tight-lipped regarding the actual narrative of the series, stating, “Further plot and character elements are being kept under wraps.”

What is known is that the show will be a “case-of-the-week” mystery thriller and that it has successfully secured some of Hollywood's most bankable performers. Slums of Beverly Hills and Everyone Says I Love You were among her 1990s flicks. She starred in 1999's American Pie and two sequels. Ten-Year-Old Tom starred Lyonne. Lyonne writes and directs.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt

Joseph Gordon-Levitt will star in Poker Face. Actor, director, screenwriter, and producer Joseph Gordon-Levitt. (500) Days of Summer was his breakout role. Gordon-Levitt started on 3rd Rock from the Sun. 10 Things I Hate About You, Brick, The Dark Knight Rises, Looper, Inception, and Premium Rush. He directed and performed in Sparks and The Walk. Gordon-Levitt and Tasha McCauley have a kid.

Stephanie Hsu

Stephanie Hsu will be in Poker Face. Hsu acts on stage and on TV. She's Taiwanese and from Torrance, California. Hsu started in regional theatre as a kid performer. She's since appeared in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Hsu has appeared in Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and The Path. She appeared in Everything Everywhere All at Once and will join American Born Chinese.

David Castaneda

Poker Face casts David Castaneda. Castaneda starred in The Umbrella Academy on Netflix. He began his acting career on Lie To Me. He's appeared in Jane the Virgin, Blindspot, and Going Dark. He'll also appear in Standing Up, Falling, in addition to The Umbrella Academy. David Castaneda has impressed viewers with his flexibility as an actor throughout his career.

Benjamin Bratt

Poker Face will star Benjamin Bratt. Bratt is a film and TV actor. Since Miss Congeniality, he's starred in Modern Family and Private Practice.
