The story is set in a future time where the world has androids called Griffiths to help humans. Giftia has a limited life span. If the scientist did not bring them back from their owner at the time, they would become destructive. An agency called Terminal service was built to perform the task.
The two protagonists Tsukasa and Isla worked in the agency. Tsukasa took the job in terminal service after failing this exam due to a medical condition, and Isla was already working there.
