Nearly Two Years After Their Breakup, the Bachelor’s Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan Are Back Together
The informant claims that the attorney, 30, and the former Bachelor, 31, “rekindled their romance this summer” and have been spending a lot of time together ever since. Following their 2020 breakup, the pilot has been “planning delightful dates” with Flanagan. Since reuniting earlier this year, the pair has been enjoying “a lot of fun together.”
The source continues, “Peter wants to be in a serious committed relationship and his love for Kelley never went away. They’re both thrilled and excited to see where things go this time.”
The pair got to know each other just before Weber shot season 24 of the ABC dating show, which debuted in September 2019. After getting along well before the programme, Flanagan shocked Weber when it was revealed that she was one of his potential suitors.
Prior to the hometown dates, the Illinois native was sent home, and during the conclusion, Weber proposed to Hannah Ann Sluss. But while the programme was still airing, the Oaks Christian High School alum called off the wedding, admitting he still had emotions for runner-up Madison Prewett.
After the cameras were stopped, Weber momentarily reconciled with Prewett, 26, but in April 2020, he started dating Flanagan. On New Year’s Eve, the former Bachelorette contestant disclosed on social media that he and Flanagan had changed their plans. He declared that they would no longer be cohabitating in December 2020.
Four days later, Flanagan announced the breakup in her own Instagram post. She later asserted that Weber refused to wait until the new year as they supposedly discussed.
In January, the couple briefly “tried to get back together” and “work on things,” but Flanagan revealed on Kaitlyn Bristowe‘s “Off the Vine” podcast in March 2021 that their relationship ended after Valentine’s Day.
In the months that followed, Flanagan and Weber both engaged in finger-pointing, but the Adventures of Pilot Pete author claimed on a podcast interview in August 2021 that they had since “moved on.”
The influencer admitted earlier this year that she didn’t consider Weber to be a good match for marriage because their relationship was “all fun and games.”
On a May episode of their “Talking It Out with Bachelor Nation” podcast, she remarked, “Peter and I had a lot of fun, but I don’t know whether I looked up to him in the way that I wanted to look up to my spouse.” I simply didn’t regard Peter as highly as I had always intended to regard my husband.
However, the couple fueled reconciliation speculations three months later when they were spotted together in Chicago.
When curious fans saw the two were staying at the same Airbnb in September, the couple fed romance rumors once more. At the dinner commemorating Tyler Cameron‘s late mother, Andrea Cameron, on Thursday, September 22, they were also spotted dancing together.
