After witnessing Bakugo getting stabbed, Deku loses his temper and attacks “Shigaraki,” who seizes the opportunity to surprise him and touches him as he begins to steal One For All. Deku, unable to navigate the universe, is followed by Nana Shimura as he fights Shigaraki and All For One in the One For All world’s remnants.
All For One has begun to meld with Shigaraki’s body despite his reluctance. All For One introduces Shigaraki to his grandmother and explains how the One For All ancestors still reside within the Quirk by stating that a user’s mentality is contained in part within their quirk components.
Shigaraki attempts to attack One For All as a whole and All For One personally, but he is rebuffed by the younger brother of All For One. Despite All For One’s attempts to condemn Deku for his shortcomings, Deku’s brother defends him by highlighting all the qualities a hero should possess.
All For One urges Shigaraki to leave in order for his body to adapt to the Quirk before their reappearance in reality. Ochaho and Tsuyu travel with the second group, while Nejire and Lida travel with the first group to assist the squad in combating Shigaraki, who is continuing his escape in the aftermath of the Gigantomachia.
Toga, still grieving over Twice’s death, approaches Ochaco and Tsuyu with a plea as the Association on Gigantomachia’s back observes the approaching heroes. Toga entices Ochaco into a vacant building by posing as an elderly woman.
Toga asks Ochaco what she plans to do to her when she is threatened with a knife; Ochaco responds that she will do whatever it takes to help those in need. As Toga is propelled away, Ochaco intends to seize her.
