After the popularity of the original Murder Mystery four years ago, Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston are teaming up once more to reprise their parts in the follow-up.
The first film centres on New York police officer Nick Spitz (Sandler), who takes his wife Audrey (Aniston) on vacation in an effort to patch up their marriage but ends up being falsely accused of killing an elderly billionaire. And now a Murder Mystery 2 trailer has surfaced, depicting the couple dealing with another mystery, only this time it’s in Paris.
The video begins with the couple at home talking about their invitation to their buddy Maharajah’s extravagant wedding, which Audrey advises they decline because the last time they attended a sizable event, “a lot of people perished.”

Murder Mystery 2 Confirmed Release Date
Murder Mystery 2 is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on March 31, 2023. The project’s Paris- and Caribbean-based filming was completed in April 2022.

Who Will Be in the Cast of Murder Mystery 2?
As previously mentioned, Sandler and Jennifer Aniston, who starred in the first movie, will head the cast. Adeel Akhtar will resume his role as the Maharajah, and John Kani will play Colonel Ulenga once more.
The much-awaited sequel has also assembled a sizable ensemble cast, including actors Mark Strong from Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Jodie Turner-Smith from After Yang, and Melanie Laurent from Inglourious Basterds.
Enrique Arce from Money Heist, Tony Goldwyn from Scandal, Zurin Villanueva from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Kuhoo Verma from Plan B, and Annie Mumolo from Bad Moms have all joined the cast as well.
What Will Happen in Murder Mystery 2?
We get a sense of the pair and how they interact (more accurately, how they don’t interact) from the first film. Nick Spitz, a police officer with the NYPD, has been vying for a detective promotion for a very long time. His wife Audrey works in the hair industry and adores murder-mystery books.
Even though they have been married for 15 years, Nick never fulfilled his promise to his wife to take her on the lavish foreign honeymoon they had planned. Finally, on their 15th wedding anniversary, they accomplish living their trip fantasies. Nevertheless, as luck would have it, their postponed honeymoon turns out to be a tumultuous journey of murder and mayhem, and their trip becomes a case of a missing person.
Following the events of the previous film, Nick and Audrey are now private detectives and run an agency in the sequel. The Spitz made the decision to become full-time detectives after their previous trip’s exhilarating encounter. However, when there aren’t enough clients or cases, it might be difficult to stay in business.
In the meantime, their friend, the Maharaja, is getting hitched, and for better or worse, he is abducted at his own wedding. The detective team sees this as a fantastic opportunity to market their business and if they can get the investigation moving, make some money.
