 Who is Mélanie Laurent?

Mélanie Laurent is a Famous French actress and Director born in Paris. She is also known as a pianist and singer. She belongs to a Jewish Family. Laurent first appeared in a Film named The Bridge (1999) she played a small role in that movie when she was just sixteen years old.

After that, she performed in  ‘Dikkenek,’ ‘Don’t Worry, I’m Fine.’ And she proved her talent, gained so much popularity people started recognizing her, and then she gets so many opportunities in the film industry.

Mélanie was born on February 21, 1983. She is from a Jewish Family. Her mother, Annick, is a ballerina. And her father is also well known for his voice Pierre Laurent ‘Ned Flander’s character in the French version of ‘The Simpsons.’  Her grandfather survived deportation by the Nazis.

Her first debut as a director was in 2008 directed a short film De moins en moins , she also wrote a 7-minute film about a patient who “remembers less and less” in front of her psychiatrist. this film was awarded as Best Short film at the 61st Annual Cannes Film Festival.
