RHOC’s Meghan King Cracked Not to Post About Her Dating life Online After ‘Whirlwind Marriage and Annulment’

Meghan King is establishing a limit on social media and dating. The 37-year-old former Real Housewives of Orange County star has stated that she will no longer post about her romances on Instagram in order to keep her dating life private.

King told Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave on Thursday's episode of Two Ts in a Row, her podcast with returning RHOC star Tamra Judge, “I'm just trying to date, and unfortunately, here and there, the press will catch up on anything.”

“After my quick marriage and annulment,” King explained, “I promised myself, ‘I'm done putting people in the public view and on my Instagram. I'm finished with that.”

Formerly wed to Cuffe Biden Owens, the nephew of President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden, the Bravo alum was previously married to Cuffe Biden Owens. The couple met on a dating app and wed in October 2021, announcing their relationship on Instagram one week before the ceremony.

King stated in March that she had filed for the annulment of the marriage, which was finalized this month.

Mellencamp, 41, acknowledged on the show that she “dug, trying to figure out” where King posted about her and Owens on Instagram, but King stated that she erased the content “because it was embarrassing.”

Mellencamp inquired about the former reality star's new connection with businessman Trevor Colhoun, whom she has supposedly been dating since April, according to Page Six. King's comments regarding the issue followed.

Mellencamp stated, “This [relationship] hasn't been all over social media,” to which King responded, “It's really aggravating, Teddi, because why do people care so much about my dating life?”

“Because it's so juicy!” Mellencamp joked.

The podcasters also made light of the wedding invitation the RHOBH actress received in her direct messages for King's second ex-husband, baseball player Jim Edmonds, and his new girlfriend.

“I apologize, but this is extremely cringe-worthy, but I must say it: “Ladies, take inspiration from your favorite Bond lady.” Gentlemen, please wear a black tie or a white coat like James.” Mellencamp read the invitation aloud.

Before King stated that “everyone has their own approach” to the nature of delivering save-the-dates, the women argued about how the invitation was distributed.

Also, Mellencamp questioned King, “How is everything going? Do you still communicate with your stepchildren in any capacity? Or is this simply a clean break?”

“No, I do not speak with the stepchildren,” King stated. “It's not that I never speak with them. It has, you know, sort of faded away.”

“In addition, the younger ones are now young. They are adolescents, but Jim and I do not communicate “She continued.

Mellencamp paused to clarify how exactly King connected with her ex-husband, which, as King revealed, was through a co-parenting app.

“What advice would you provide to someone who is attempting to co-parent?” Mellencamp asked.

“I'm not sure. My co-parenting scenario is nonexistent, therefore I have no idea what I would do. I am the one in need of advice “King admitted.

Do you believe that he is a narcissist? Mellencamp followed up immediately.

King said, “Well, I believe that anyone can Google my connection in about five minutes and make their own determination.” Mellencamp smiled at King's response, “So, yes”

King wed the former MLB star in October 2014; their divorce was finalized in 2021 after they separated in 2019. They share a 5-year-old daughter, Aspen, and twin 3-year-old sons, Hart and Hayes.
