Kevin Feige officially announced the movie at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, and star Mahershala Ali joined him on stage. Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, will start making movies in October 2022. Reports say that filming is also happening in Cleveland, New Orleans, and Morocco.
Who Will Be in the New Blade?
So, who will be in the new Blade movie? Well, Academy Award winner Mahershala Ali plays the main character, Daywalker, which is reason enough to be excited.

Also, British actor Aaron Pierre has a mysterious part in Blade. He has been in movies like Krypton, Old by M. Night Shyamalan, and The Underground Railroad. Sites like The Direct think that Milan Ray, who is only 14 years old, will play Blade’s daughter.

A supposed plot leak from the /tv/ board on 4Chan says that the movie will end by following the life of Blade’s daughter, Brielle Brooks, though this should be taken with a grain of salt. The story is also said to start in the 1920s, with Blade’s pregnant mother getting help from a vampire who is trying to take advantage of her. Still, none of this has been proven.

We expect to see familiar characters like Blade’s trusted friend Abraham Whistler and Jamal Afari, who was his first teacher. It’s also interesting to think about who Blade will fight since The Boys star Anthony Starr has been said to play Dracula.
